Ontario Parcel is a consolidated collection of digital parcel mapping data that provides users with access to standardized and easily integrated information for assessment, ownership and Crown parcel data.

Created in 2002 through a tripartite agreement between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) and Teranet Enterprises Inc.; Ontario Parcel provides foundation data to support spatial applications with over 7.5 million parcels of land data. This comprehensive land database includes property lines, Crown identifiers, and parcel identifiers such as property identification numbers (PIN) and assessment roll numbers (ARN).

Ontario ministries and municipalities, provincial agencies, utilities and other organizations that currently manage a Geographic Information System (GIS) can leverage Ontario Parcel mapping to reduce costs by shifting their focus from maintaining land base information to supporting their business requirements such as planning, engineering, asset management and business analysis.
