On December 16, 2010 the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services announced two classes of changes to the fee structure for land registration services in Ontario commencing on November 2, 2015:

• Firstly, the fee for searching properties from within land registry offices will be harmonized to be more in line with the fees for comparable searches done remotely through Teraview; and
• Secondly, some of the fees set for land registration services are to be adjusted by an accumulation of 50 per cent of inflation based on the consumer price index for each year between 2010 and 2015.
  • As the fees will be adjusted by 50 per cent of the consumer price index annually, yearly communication of these changes will be made.
